Mid-April in northern IL.............
When I was scheduled to do my trunk show in April (last night) I thought that was great because it will be warm by then. Wrong! This is what we woke up to yesterday morning. Are we done with it? No, they are predicting more snow Wednesday late afternoon into Thursday morning. Luckily they are only talking an inch, not the mammoth snow storm that Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan got. The next 10 days are all predicted to be below normal so I don't need to be thinking about gardening yet. Maybe that means I'll get some quilts quilted and bound.

Winter is just holding on for sure! we didn't get snow yesterday, just lots of wind and a deluge of cold rains...good quilting weather though...hugs, Julierose
my aunt in Green Bay got at least 15" or more and daughter near Madison has at least 2 but I think she got more since I last talked to her. This spring is very crazy. How did the trunk show go?
We had the same look down here yesterday.... all day... snow showers and flakes fell all day, but too warm to stick for long!!! We have been teased a few times with some warm weather... but really too extreme for me! Hope you had fun with your trunk show!
We had a milder weekend and I managed 2 hours cutting back Sat. & Sun. Yesterday I saw some sun but it's colder again today. Supposed to be quite warm the next few days - I'll see it when I feel it. Hopefully you had a good turn-out at your trunk show :)
While we have been very fortunate to avoid the severe and unseasonable weather others are experiencing, we are now in a severe drought. Stay warm, Wanda, and quilt on!
I’m in Paducah for The AQS quilt show and we had snow flurries twice yesterday. The day ended chilly with sunny skies.
Prior to the 5 inches of snow our friends in Elkhorn, WI received, they had freezing rain, which gave them a 3/4 Inch layer of ice on their sidewalks and driveway, under the snow. Glad it wasn't here.
It's just plain ugly at this time of the year. We went down to 39* here last night ..... in April! It's crazy.
Wanda...hope the show went well. Sorry to have missed it! My rhubarb started coming up about 2 wks. ago. Keeping fingers crossed the snow hasn't killed it off. Love the plaid project!
Great trunk show last night, Wanda !! Thank you for showing so many beautiful quits and all your inspiration !!
This winter seemed to be very long everywhere, but in my part of the world at least it looks like spring has arrived!
