I finished cleaning the basement except for one table which I will do today. My Studio die cutter table was the worst mess down there. Now the die cutter is folded up and the table dusted.
I mixed 2 batches of cookie dough and will bake them today.
Here is the last champagne colored cactus bloom. The little bud next to it is drying up.
This is the last white bloom and I don't expect any more buds or blooms now until fall. One of these days I need to get up the ambition to set up a big table in the garage and re-pot a bunch of them. I have 20 cactus plants and about 10 of them really need to have some looser soil.
The art quilters come tomorrow so I need to round up anything I have pieced since they were here. Sadly another month has gone by and I didn't finish anything.
Love that champagne colored cactus--with that hot pink center--just glorious...hugs, Julierose (from another dark, gray day here ;ooo)
ReplyDeleteP.S. what kind of soil do you use for your cacti? I need to re-pot mine...
There may be fewer finishes but you have accomplished a great deal. Those champagne flowers are so pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteBut look back at April and everything else you started, achieved, or did. Baking, I call that a finish, sweeping up the yard, weeding, cutting back some shrubs, they all take time, and remember, we do have those 24 hours, no more, even when we are in "daylight saving".
ReplyDeletelovely flowers on the cactus. You might not have had a finish but you have done a lot!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are gorgeous, I wish I had them. I think I need to repot many of my plants too.
ReplyDeleteGreat way to start the week with your art quilters spending the day with you tomorrow.

Have fun with the art Quilters! You did a lot of sewing the past month regardless of finishing. You did a workshop and worked on a class, too.
