I have lots of flannel scraps left from cutting the preemie gowns for about 4 years. I had to iron them all and then find a coordinating group to cut. I decided the pink ones would have green and yellow in them.
This will be the backing for the 3 mostly pink quilt tops. I don't put any batting in them so they will stay soft and flexible like a blanket. I have lots more pieces pressed and ready for cutting into squares.
I have the same question, how big? Do you use flannel for the back? Do you quilt them? I hardly ever work with flannel and never made a quilt from it. But people give me flannel scraps.
Those blankets are so sweet. How big will they be? Will you do the finishing or will the group do that?
