We got another 4.5" of snow overnight Saturday into Sunday. It looks like it is just about ready to slide off the squirrel baffle on top of the bird feeder. Since Friday we have had about 14.5" of snow and there was already some on the ground from previous storms earlier in the week. Luckily there is snow removal equipment here in the north.
I quilted the project yesterday that I am gifting and can't show yet. Then I had some computer work to do and then the day was over.
Looks like you made a good day of a snow day! We have an 'ice' day today. Not a lot, but enough to make going out... difficult until we see the sun. Plans to stay in and prep and bake... for a retreat tomorrow. I'm making lunch for the group.
ReplyDeleteAt least you have plenty to keep you busy. We have gotten all that precip in the form of rain! Now the rivers are flooding bringing back memories of 2010 in Nashville.
ReplyDeleteI can't even begin to imagine how it must be to live in that kind of climate. Do you ever get used to that?
ReplyDeleteMy good ness you did get a lot of snow. I got nothing but some rain so the forecast changed a lot for this area! The butterfly quilt is coming along nicely. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteit looks pretty - having lived in the south for so many years now I like to get one or two snow storms a year just so I can see it - it is pretty when it first falls, but then after that I just want spring to arrive :)
ReplyDeleteEeeeeeeeek! That is a lot of snow -removal equipment or not. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of snow! Fortunately only rain here.
ReplyDeleteCan you sent some snow over to northern California. We are in deep doodoo if we don't get snowpack in the mountains.
ReplyDeleteI'm with WhiteEagle - send some of that snow to Tahoe! Soon you may have enough that the squirrels will get to that feeder from below.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of snow!!!
