I try to work on this cutting project at least 2 days each week. It is my Kaffe fabrics and I started with #1 and am up to #83 and I have them sorted by color in these trays. There is one section that is just multicolor. I am only cutting prints that are small to medium and skipping all of the larger prints. Since his fabric numbers up in the 160s now I guess I am almost half done. His new fabric for spring will come out in April so I better keep at this.
The big snowstorm is supposed to start near midnight tonight and last for 24-30 hours. If it shifts north or south we could get less than the 8" they are predicting for us.
The fabrics are beautiful all laid out in the color groups. We have snow predicted for Friday thru Sunday, but I have no idea how much we are suppose to get. I plan on staying home all weekend.
ReplyDeleteSure bright colors on gray days. The weatherman here says 10 plus inches in isolated areas. Great time to sew and cut your fabric. Chris
ReplyDeleteKaffe is so beautiful. Love your stuff wanda!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a collection! I hope you can just stay inside and enjoy watching the snow.
ReplyDeleteNice display Wanda.....we woke up to 50 degrees and rain this morning. It's feels we've been living in Seattle this winter.

Wow, what a beautiful rainbow display! Are you cutting only one shape? I hope your storm isn't too bad. It's a good time to sew!
ReplyDeleteWill you be kitting these up, or do you have a project in mind? Fortunately for us,the forecast for Friday and Saturday should be good for our Guild's quilt show. Sunday...not so much, but we are done by then.
ReplyDeleteWhat size are your squares and what are you cutting them for? What project?
ReplyDeleteTell me you have a project for these? They sure are pretty!
