The batik bricks quilt top is done unless I still decide to add 2 more rows to either the top or the bottom. It is 72" x 92" right now. 2 more rows would make it closer to 98" long.
My sister in law gave me an Amaryllis for Christmas and it is getting ready to bloom.
It looks like there will be some red in the flower.
I love how calming this one looks... and this photo coloration looks great to me. My Christmas cactus is blooming. 2 blooms and very late... must be the location changes... I move it where ever when ever...
The thing I like best about batiks---their rich depths--is also the tough thing for photos. I think all those colors came through louder and clearer in closeups of individual fabric pieces. I'm loving the piece!!!!
Love the table runner under the flower.
ReplyDeleteI bet that brick quilt would look great photographed on the purple wall. Congratulations on finishing it.
ReplyDeleteOh your color blending is so magnificent. Love how this vibrates...And i think your amaryllis will also be a beautiful color...
