Yesterday afternoon I finished sewing section 3 (the top one) of the batik bricks quilt and designed section 4. I have 49 bricks left over so I am trying to decide whether to add 2 more rows at the bottom.
I decided to start sewing it while I ponder that decision. I can't wait to get all of the sections sewn together and take them to the design wall in the basement for a photo. This quilt is so much richer in color and value changes than it shows here. Even these 2 photos aren't alike in color.
Today is the day the pop-up shop opens at noon to subscribers. Tomorrow noon you will all be able to visit if you chose not to sign up.

This quilt top is looking so nice! It is amazing how much the rows shrink when you sew them together.
Beautiful fabrics. In this cold weather, you are really getting some quilting done.
This is so beautiful Wanda, it photographs well and knowing it looks even richer in real, takes my breath away. I'm sending this to my daughter, she will be stunned to see, as she selected her tile for her back splash for her new kitchen yesterday. It is glass tiles that duplicate your quilt. (*._.*)

Love the bricks! What size are you cutting them?
Wanda I posted a comment early this morning and I just checked back to tell you how amazing your pop up shop is ! And I see my comment didn't make it through the clouds. My comment on today's post was that my daughter and I have been selecting granite and tile for her new kitchen. Your neutral quilt mimics the glass tiles she selected for her back splash ! I sent her your photo of your quilt today and she was blown away with the same color way and design.
