I finished sewing two quilt tops in November. The layout for this one was started in May and put back up on the design wall in November. I added another row on two sides and then spent a few days fine tuning it. It is a little under 34" square.
I started sewing the little 4" sixteen patch blocks on November 1st and added 8" blocks and the star by the third week. Here is the post where I explain how this quilt evolved. It is 39" x 51.5".
I taught one colorwash class in November, had family staying with me for parts of 4 days, and hosted an art quilters sewing day.
Hopefully I can get some finishing done in December. It has been 3 months since my pacemaker surgery so I think all restrictions on arm movement should be over but I don't see the surgeon/cardiologist until the 14th so I won't overdo it before then.

You had a busy month! Some December finishes would be a great way to close out the year.
even recovering from the pacemaker surgery and the holidays you have gotten a lot done!
You are on your way back to creating
You had such a busy month and sewed these tops!
Love the North Star!
Wow! They are so beautiful. Hope all goes well at the visit with the surgeon.
I think you've done brilliantly considering you were in hospital such a short time ago. You are doing the right things and now there's no stopping you! LOL! I love the quilts you have worked on and you are even pottering in the garden - weather permitting. All good for the heart - uplifting sewing sessions and exercise. I'm sure you'll be given a thumbs up by the doc when you go. :D
