I got the other 5 stratas cut and made into 16 patch blocks last night. This is 10 stacks of 3 blocks each.
Since the blocks are only 4" finished this would only be 20" x 24" if I sewed it now and I have no use for something that size. I will continue to sew stratas and make more blocks.

I love the hits of turquoise in this. I didn't think about how small those blocks are.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have a use for anything 20x24 either - it will grow and be a beauty I'm sure
ReplyDeleteWow!Small blocks will turn into one amazing quilt. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteUnless my memory fails me (and it definitely could!), I don’t recall you working these so small. The colors are fun and so is the scale—and fun to see where this will take you!
ReplyDeleteWow, when you put the blocks together, all sorts of color movement goes on. Looks terrific, even if it is small.
ReplyDeleteAs usual Wanda, you select the best fabrics... Your dark jewel tone blues, greens, and adding the blacks make a terrific display for your checker board piece. Fun to study...

Those are such beautiful fabrics.
ReplyDeleteLiking this quilt Wanda - only just catching up on posts!
ReplyDeleteReally like all these little blocks and the colours are gorgeous. Would you consider a small sashing between them?
