After baking 2 batches of cookies, finishing the clean up in the basement and mowing the grass I laid out one more star block. I did get it sewn last night but didn't press it yet.
The art quilters are coming today. We don't have to worry about snow any more but would you believe there was a frost warning overnight the last 2 nights......not quite time yet to plant the tomatoes. Maybe one more week and they will go into the ground.
This block reminds me of stained glass- it may be the orange. The sun is actually out this morning, so I can go out and assess the garden after all those days of rain.
ReplyDeleteI really love this block. Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIn Oregon we're not supposed to plant bedding plants until after Mother's Day. Sounds as if that's the same where you live. - Your star blocks are amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI don't trust our weather any more, so I just might wait a couple of more weeks to begin planting. These star blocks are so gorgeous and I can only imagine what they look like in person.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty block. It just glows.
ReplyDelete# 30 ~ Looks like you saved the best one for last (*._.*) Well maybe .... they are all magnificent !

There is an old gardener's saying..." when you can sit on the ground with no pants on, and it isn't too cold, then you can plant the seeds "... Drum roll and photos please!!! Love that last block, like marble.
ReplyDeleteYour star blocks are so pretty. I love how each one has its own personality. It will really be interesting to see it all come together.
ReplyDeleteWe are in Summer here. Supposedly it's still Spring, but I don't believe it! ;)
I think this is my favorite! Really pretty.
ReplyDeleteWe've had frost advisories the past few nights too, but nobody plants things here much before the 21st of May. That star block is gorgeous!
