The new spring Kaffe Fassett Collective fabrics are out. Kaffe did some recoloring of old favorites. I love the new colors of Paper Fans.
Dream is one of his newer fabrics and I think this is the third group of colors for it. I should be able to use some of these flowers in my Seed Packet quilt. I need to get that back up on the design wall.
I have to be honest and say I don't like all his fabrics. I do like these bright fabrics though, nix on the darker ones. I do know that you will make a gorgeous quilt out of whatever he has.
I bought some of the black fans and they are great--I was surprised how many different colors they work with. Definitely on my "buy more" shopping list.
Love those fan fabrics - can't wait to see what you turn them into :) I'm still busy sewing small items and even managed a few hours in the garden this weekend. I've not been on the pc a lot recently but still manage to get my daily fix of Ex.Color posts, keeping up to date with what you are sewing :)
I'm hoping my fabrics will be here any day now. I love his new Dream colours, the Paper Fans are great too and I have a horrible feeling I din't put those on my order even though I had marked them down in my diary! Better go check. Dream is a fabulous design for fussy cutting, just right for your Seed Packet.
Oooh.. I really love those two Dream fabrics. I knew it was from the Kaffe collective before I even read a word of your post. :-)
ReplyDeletePretty fabric! Those dark pieces are so moody and rich looking!
