Three more seams..............
The camera insists on dulling all of the rich brown, rust and gold flannels in this quilt. It is so much prettier than the photo. I had 3 seams left to sew last night but it was too late to do them. I started looking for a flannel to use for the back and I have one that is long enough but not wide enough. That means piecing it so I'm still looking for the other piece or pieces.

It reminds me so much of rock rows and the incredible variety of colors and values found there. It is a very rich toned quilt.
what a neat idea to mix sizes - I would have never thought of that!
I agree with Linda about the rock layers. Have fun hunting for the pieces to create the backing.
Very nice! I never would have thought to mix the sizes. I was trying to find fabric for the back of the t-shirt quilt last night. I have one piece that is long enough but not wide enough. I found another piece to add to it, but it isn't quite enough either. Looks like I will piecing the back for this one.
Rich, warm, and cozy.
It just keeps looking better and better!
All the pieces are tumbling into place!
How much flannel do you have left?
If your big tumblers are 6" tall, that winds up being a decent sized sofa quilt. Would make a great gift for a man too. Love it!
Love the mixed sizes Wanda.
Looks great, Wanda!
Just a fun group of fabrics put together in a snuggle quilt top!!
