One finished.........
I decided to use the rest of the backing fabric as the binding on the Stonehenge quilt. I did the binding all by machine.
I will take its portrait today. I need to either take the Seed Packet squares off a design wall or set up another double wall where the lighting isn't quite as good.
I mentioned yesterday that I had a couple blips that I didn't know if I would fix. Here is one of them. It took me 10 minutes last night to find it so the answer is NO, I won't fix it. The channel lock slipped in this spot.
This is the other spot where the channel lock slipped. I caught it quicker this time. Of course it had to be in a dark area where the dark beige thread really shows up. If I were quilting for someone else I would take it out. Since it is mine, I'm going to leave it. It is my one of two humble spots on the quilt.
I chose the binding fabric for the pink and green quilt. I baked two treats for my daughter in law yesterday so I didn't get this cut yet.

I am really liking that dark colored quilt......is there a pattern, or a blog entry where you list it? Great work, especially color choices.
Love your organic line quilting. I enjoy seeing all your projects. I want to be like you when I retire.
I would not think of fixing the blips unless entering a show. If selling, I sure would not care. Lovely!
I had a spot in the last quilt that I machine quilted that I didn't fix either - it was an area with a couple of tiny fold overs of the fabric on the back - after it was washed and dried with the shrinkage I really had to look for it - I'm glad I didn't take the time to go back and fix it.
Great finish to add to this year! Don't worry about the blips- they are not structural.
If it tool you that long to find the blip I would leave it too! It is a beautiful finish.
Congrats on all the finishes, Wanda! Love that hot pink you chose for the pink/green quilt. My thought is "what blips?" :) Too insignificant to even matter. Anxious to see the Stonehenge with the binding portraiture. Next time I'm at a quilt shop, I need to take another look at the Stonehenge fabrics, they have such great texture!
If you could see all my mistakes, you would just cringe! I'm just not a good long arm person and mine has many issues to do a good job. Your pink binding fabric is going to be perfect for that quilt. Thank you for the last year of great blogs.

The blips say, "Hey, I was here!" - and I would leave them there, too. Your quilts are beautiful! I think I will try machine binding on my next quilt. Thanks for the inspiration.
