I was away from home most of the day yesterday so there was only a little sewing done. On Monday I had pressed and cut more purple strips but all were light strips except one. I also had one dark strip left over from the first batch of cutting. Now I need to get back at it and cut more dark strips.
There was more melting of snow yesterday but we are going to have a few frigid days so what is left will be staying awhile.
Pretty purple flowers! The rain has stopped and we have some sunshine this morning! Haven' seen the sun in about a week. It is 30 degrees, but no wind so it wasn't bad walking this morning at 6:30.
love the purple. it will be cold here all week and I wouldn't be surprised if December isn't cold all month at the way the weather looks. I hope January won't be bad too

We're cold here yesterday and today, and we're supposed to get a big storm with quite a bit of snow tomorrow night. My DH is traveling and I hope he makes it home before it gets bad.

Be careful of ice, if it turns cold after all the melting!
