I pulled out my Nancy Crow fabrics and the Australian fabrics and chose some that I thought might work for the last 3 blocks.
After looking at them for awhile I took down the ones that I didn't think worked as well and added two more new ones. I may not get these cut until Friday because I only have 2 more days before I teach the colorwash class at my house. I need to finish cleaning and also finish cutting the batik colorwash kits. I will leave these on the design wall today and hopefully I can make a decision which 3 I'll use.
I definitely like the lower right one with red and purple.
ReplyDeleteThe two on the bottom and the purple on top....lol. Fabric picking your stash is such fun!
ReplyDeleteI kind of get lost in those fabrics. It takes some genius to sort through and create some blocks from the fabrics you are using.
ReplyDeleteI like the purple squares with the red centers, the big round looking flowers at the bottom left and the green print on the upper right. This quilt is going to be wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI think there is already plenty of red in the squares. I'd opt for the green, the purple, and the circles piece in your rejected pile. Yes, it is always fun to make choices from your vast stash.
ReplyDeleteAgain, so inspired by your latest quilt. I always enjoy seeing how you put fabrics and colors together - always a winner!! And, always makes me want to try making that quilt also!!
ReplyDeleteI think my choices would be the same as those chosen by patty a. Definitely the green and the purple and then one of the reds.
ReplyDeleteAnd, as I said earlier, I knew you wouldn't have any trouble finding enough big prints in your stash if you just looked again! This will be fabulous - as are all of your quilts.
This is looking wonderful! Love all your fabric choices!
