It was too hot outside to do anything yesterday so I sewed almost all day. I got the top and bottom sections sewn and pressed all three sections of this quilt. I put the sections up on the design wall to wait for time to continue. The bottom section has to lay partially on the floor.
Here is a close up shot so you can see the beauty of the fabrics.
I also got this small quilt partially basted.
Last night I worked on the preemie layettes because our church sewing circle is only going to meet once this month, next Monday. I have about another 5 hours of work on them so we will be ready to run the ribbons through the neckbands and package the 4 pieces for each layette.
Becki@the beach, you are a no reply. There is a Label List on my right sidebar with a label called Cobblestone Series. If you scroll down through the posts you will find the directions for making the crooked cobblestones.

Lovely batiks. Lots of movement.
Her fabrics are saturated with color, so intense and perfect for your designs.

I just love the Derse fabric and what you did with it. It seems like it would be hard to sew. Love the colorwash. Such inspiring fabric pieces!
Those are beautiful. Stay cool.
Ah Marcia (Marsha, Marsha :) ) Such glorious colors and fabrics....
