I was at the repair place until almost noon. Brakes are silent now and they didn't charge for fixing them. It has only been 6 months since they did the original brake job.
I spent a few more hours listing some more items for sale on my Wandaful blog. Then I got busy cutting batting for some small items that I have been working on. It has turned cold again so I didn't work outside at all.
I am disappointed that I didn't get another quilt quilted this month but I just couldn't decide which one to do.
Well, you have to fix brakes and now they are right. Decisions take a lot of creative energy. I am sure you will get more quilted soon. Instead of small projects, I guess I just make sample blocks to see what I am going to cut out next. Tried two new ideas yesterday and put them on the wall.
ReplyDeleteglad you were able to get in to get the brakes fixed - yes they shouldn't go out in a month! it will be cooler here for a couple days too I think, we got 2.5 inches of rain since yesterday - glad we didn't get the flooding that other parts of the state got.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you feel more comfortable knowing that the brakes are fixed. It was worth the not quilting to get them done.
ReplyDeleteAlmost everyone I know who has had brake work done has had to go back because they were too noisy. Glad yours are fixed now. We've been told that they were not dangerous, but I'm sure it scares all the other people in the car and around who hear them.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't decide which one to do? That's the oddest reason I've ever heard for not getting another quilt done! Maybe you just really didn't have it in you? And it really doesn't matter, you can just do an extra one in May - which has an extra day, too!
