Santa in my garden.........

I do minimal decorating for Christmas because the party isn't at my house any more.  Santa and a poinsettia round out my indoor garden.

I went to a beautiful candlelight Christmas Eve service last night and then went to my family party.  It was nice to have warmer than normal weather and no snow to walk through.  Yes, I'm one who doesn't need a white Christmas.

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas, Wanda! Your posts and answers are always a gift to me! I am not a decorator- I like the way it looks, but I find it distracting to do. I prefer to do my decorating on a design wall. I guess I don't like taking decorations down and boxing them. I love to quilt and share and give them away. Sorting fabrics and quilt stuff is enough to occupy my scrutiny and creative energy.
Thank you for your faithful and gorgeous postings!!

Our decorating this year is minimal too, and our expected high is in the 70s! Neither spoils the sentiments of the season for us. Merry Christmas, and thank you for another year of inspiring posts!

Enjoy the weather as it is kind to you, have a great day wherever you are. Fond greetings from Jean. ( we have 29 Celsius at almost 10 a.m.!! )

Merry Christmas, Wanda. We had a green Christmas too this year, which is unusual for us but I think that snow is on the way tonight and into next week. Loved having the milder weather but I must say that I miss the snow.

I'm with you on all of that! Don't need or much like the snow - primarily because my car handles do poorly, or pretty much not at all, in the snow. Pretty much the only decorating I do is putting up my tiny artificial tree. And I'm not sure I'd even get around to that except for the fact that a few years ago, I made a sweet tiny quilted tree skirt which I just love. I can't really get out the tree skirt without the tree, so there . . .
