I rearranged the triangle squares on the design wall and took the rows down but didn't get any sewing done. I spent a couple hours looking for a certain notebook and never found it. So I will show you my collection of Christmas postcards from my friend Vicki Welsh. The one on the left in the bottom row is this year's card.
She really does mail them with a stamp too. They have arrived in perfect condition each year. I have them on display in my studio year round and enjoy them so much.
Vicki's creativity is amazing--that mosaic wall in her basement blows me away. Thank you for introducing her so long ago.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely. I enjoy reading how she makes them. Her blog is another of my "must reads"
ReplyDeleteThose are real treasures. Glad you display them year round.
ReplyDeleteThe cards are very creative, she is an artist. I really enjoyed magnifying the cards to see them close.
ReplyDeleteI like the zentangly one the best. Wowee zowee!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are wonderful. I have sent them myself & everyone has received them with no problem.
ReplyDeleteBetween you and Vicki, I am constantly inspired!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteI watch Vicki make these each year via her blog posts - they are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThose are definitely worth keeping up all year. I wonder how many she makes each year? They are beautiful. I don't even gat my act together to send out regular cards, but it's just as much because I don't really feel they are worth sending unless I have something important to write in them. Just signing them seems kind of meaningless, I think. Or maybe that's just my excuse. I guess I'm conflicted.
ReplyDeleteI posted my Vicki cards not too long ago. I now have four and they all have pine trees on them. I now have a postcard forest! I hope you find your notebook!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Christmas Postcards from your friend you receive each year. Nice to display them in your studio.
ReplyDeleteI participate in a Postcard swap and I love making and receiving them..
