Finished cleaning.........
I finished cleaning up the basement, cleaning off tables and dusting, etc., baked 2 batches of cookies. I didn't sew a stitch. I did do some cutting but nothing worthy of photographing. So instead I'll show the new fall Kaffe collective fabrics that I pre-ordered on sale a few weeks ago. I love that new stripe. It runs from selvage to selvage rather than along the lengthwise grain. I also love the new rusty red Brassica by Phil Jacobs. The 4 on the right are Brandon Mably prints. The art quilters are coming today so it will be a fun day.
When you purchase fabric that you love but don't have a project in mind, how much of the fabric do you buy?
ReplyDeleteGood morning Wanda.....The fabrics are beautiful, the stripes yummy and I am sitting here drooling. Have a fun day with your art quilters.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you on the stripes and the orange fabric - soooo gorgeous. Guess this means I need to keep an eye out for them :D
ReplyDeleteI like the striped fabric too! I'll have to keep an eye out for those.
ReplyDeleteLOVE those stripes. How much do you buy for your stash when you see them?
ReplyDeleteOh, what pretty fabrics. Have a fun day with your friends! (and eat an extra cookie for me.)
ReplyDeleteThose are great fabrics. I do like those stripes too!
ReplyDeleteI was channeling you yesterday, Wanda -- my new project features scrappy batiks!
ReplyDeleteI pre-ordered some of this too! I can't resist KF and friends! I also have trouble cutting into it and that is just plain silly of me. I have to get over it!
ReplyDeleteI, too, wonder how much you buy when you have no project in mind?
ReplyDeleteI loved the stripes right off, that whole lot looks very nice. Everyone deserves a day off once in a while, the only thing is I like sewing everyday!
ReplyDeleteI just saw those stripes in an ebook. What fun they will be to play with.
