8 blocks sewn........

I had great intentions of cutting more fabrics yesterday.  By the time I got home from sewing circle and errands I was tired and only sewed together the last four blocks.

I am going to help a friend baste a quilt this morning.  She had car trouble last week on the way here so this is the make up date.

  2. The blocks are very different and unique. I don't know which one to look at first- they are all competing for my attention!

  3. Basting is a job so I am sure your friend is grateful for the help. The blocks are coming along great.

  4. These are just gorgeous. Have you decided about the sashing? I really like the black and white.

  7. I'm really liking these blocks. I have a supply of Kaffe fabrics, not at all extensive, but not insignificant. Mostly FQs, so a lot of variety. I'd thought some day I'd make a lot of 9-patches, but now I'm thinking I should probably cut smaller pieces and do something like this or 16-patches. To get what I have really mixed up for a much scrap pier look.
    It's an idea, at least.

  8. These are really luscious!!! Like Charlotta I am tempted to begin one of these quilts. I checked the relevant book on my KF shelf and found that this was one of the quilts I had marked as a "to do sometime" but had noted not all pink/red. I usually mark ones I would like to make when I buy his books.
