I need larger rectangles for another project so I have been cutting for 3 days. I still need to cut reds and oranges. I'll know what else I need as I proceed with the project.
I like your tray idea too. you must be cutting enough for several projects during this marathon. I could get totally confused with this much going on. How to do you keep it all straight as to what to cut/size/etc?
I just watched your video of your quilt showing at Ciel Gallery! Very impressive!!! I've been quilting for years, probably 25+. I love all aspects of it -- most of the time, it's the color of the fabric that grabs me. I, too, am a huge Kaffe Fassett fabric lover. I'm also growing quite fond of Amy Butler and her fabric lines for the wonderful color! I love getting lost in the process of making quilts. I've got many "flimsies" or tops and just acquired a longarm machine and am attempting to get all of them quilted, as well as keep up with the quilting of the current ones. It's been a fun journey. I can't wait to retire so I can do this ALL the time! I like your blog and following what all you're up to. Thank you so much for sharing!! ~Mindy in Indy
I like the idea of your trays. Others have some type of basket and trays and it makes me think of how I can work with them. Chris
