Yesterday I ran errands, pulled weeds and mowed the grass. It is supposed to get hotter each day from now until Sunday so I needed to get as much done as I could while it was comfortable.
Last night I looked for more spare parts to possibly work into this quilt.
Here are a few more parts that may get worked into it too. There will be some plain strips between some of the blocks too. I will continue to gather parts and then it needs to come off the wall to prepare for my class. I need to use a lint roller on all of the design walls to clean off all of the stray threads.

This is really going to be interesting. Can't wait to see where you work the other ones in. Chris
I am carefully watching to get some ideas what to do with my random batik crumb blocks.
we have had two mild cloudy days with temps high only in the low 80's going away today I believe and back to 90's glad I got the grass cut last night.
The quilt will be interesting with all variety of blocks in it if any one can get an interesting scheme together you can.
This is going to be one fun quilt. I love all the parts and pieces you are adding to the design.
Looking good, Wanda! You continue to inspire me!
LOVE the addition of all the "spare parts"! It's scrap happy!
It is so great to find all those pieces and parts. I am not so sure I like the bear paw block for this. For me it seems to stick out a bit. I am enjoying watching how you move the pieces about.
I love the quilt with your add in blocks. Very interesting. Hugs
Delicious units! This is going to make a very interesting quilt! Did someone say color wash class???????
I really like all of the additions to the blocks.
Wonderful use of stray parts!
Good luck dealing with those stray threads on your design walls. I've actually vacuumed mine a few times.
Lovin' all those spare parts Wanda.
Oh what fun! I love how you incorporate some of your leftovers into a new project. Not wasting such pretty parts is definitely a GOOD thing!
It amazes me how the triangles and blocks just fit in with blocks!! I need to loosen up & play a little more. We are supposed to have a heat wave coming this weekend. The dog and I will be organizing inside!!
Wow! I love that quilt!
We've had rain all week and it's been cool. My garden is soggy. Hoping for an end soon.
I have a huge box of parts - most of them much smaller than full blocks - that I have acquired from many different sources over the years. Most of them are pieces I've made myself, which for various reasons didn't make it into whatever project I made them for. But I also have parts from friends' quilts, and parts rescued from the trash at retreats or quilt classes. Some day I'll play with them. It's doubtful that they'll play as well together as yours do, but I do love a scrappy quilt, so I'll probably like what happens regardless!
I like the idea and look of the "spare parts"----but not the look of the spare blocks, too traditional for the "modern" look of the other blocks
I enjoy spare parts quilts. (I've made two and heaven knows I have enough parts for many others). Yours is shaping up nicely!
So much fun watching you play with the evolution of this quilt!
Oh I really like those additional blocks ! This is going to be a really nice quilt.
