When 4 blocks come together it makes multicolor stars.
This also shows the true colors in the quilt better than the whole quilt photo.
Our twice monthly sewing group met yesterday and I paper pieced flannel arcs to use in the next flannel quilt.
I had only printed 6 arcs so I need to decide how I am going to place them so I know how many more I need. I was thinking of maybe a half circle on both sides and a full one in the center. Then it will be filled in with more squares around these blocks and maybe 3 more rows of squares at the top. Right now it is 56" wide and I want the length to be at least 72".

Love the multicolored stars! Thanks for the true to colors photo. I am not a fan of flannel, but your rings are gorgeous! The Hunters Star must just sparkle in person.
I like that flannel quilt idea with the arc's - looking forward to seeing how you place them
I still have not made a hunter star, but hope to someday! Yours is beautiful. I like the arcs - anxious to see that one all put together, too.
Your Hunter Star quilt top is stunning.
I LOVE the Hunter Star!!!!
Love that HS!
The hunters star came out just great. I love the play of colors.
Loving your Hunter Star - your edges are so neat and tidy :)
Love your "scrappy" take on the Hunter Star! It really shines!
I love the Hunter's Star quilt. I have the Go die but have not cut fabric for it. Maybe I will get busy now that I have seen yours. And I am curious as to how you are going to put those circles into the squares.
I just love it when I see you have a new post. I love everything you do. The hunters star is fabulous. Can't wait to see where you put your arcs on the flannel quilt. Hugs
Your Hunter's Star is fabulous! I love the fun of the multicolour stars at the intersections.
The pieced arcs are going to be a special touch for that flannel quilt.
The Hunter's Star is magnificent. The Stars really sparkle. The flannel quilt will be quite nice as well. It seems very ambitious to paper piece with flannel. I wouldn't have thought that to be very easy or ideal at all, but you've clearly done a great job with it. I'm curious to see how you're going to set these circles and half circles into the quilt.
Love your Hunter Star blocks - wonderful!!
