I decided to finish the smallest piece first. This one is just under 28" square. It is hard to tell but the binding is a deep toned red/purple. It blended in nicely with all of the edge fabrics
I have 40" left to hand stitch on this binding. Tomorrow will be reorganization day to see what I want to accomplish in the next 10 day period.
As always when I miss a few days, I enjoy seeing the progress you have made, since my last visit to your blog. They are all just wonderful. The finished pieces just jump off the screen. Love them all. Brightened my day.
Ditto to all of the above. I insisted my husband look at your work this morning and he even said, "it's a lovely use of the color palette." So true. Your work is so lovely. It's a great thing to wake up to! Magistra13 at yahoo dot com Beth
Congrats on your finishing spree!
ReplyDeleteI love your colorwash, wish I could see those fabrics close.
ReplyDeleteYou continue to be such an inspiration. Where do you keep all those unfinished quilts? I am imagining a vault with a treasure trove of quilts.
ReplyDeleteWanda, you are really an artist!!! It's so awesome!!! Love the light dancing in the quilt ... ;))) Lovely regards! Kirsten
