I sewed the binding on this triangle quilt and finished it with a zig zag stitch by machine. This was made from a random assortment of triangles sewn into squares and then fun at the design wall. It finished at about 41" x 54" so it will be a baby or lap quilt.
If the recipient can't stand all of the color on the front, the back is nice and soothing.
I love both sides....wonderful pick. I quickly get tired of zig zags and chevrons, but I think I would enjoy this layout and colorful fabric forever. Thanks for sharing it.
I'm inspired by your use of color Wanda! It makes me happy to see your quilts with each new post and they give me courage to play w/ colors more freely.
I like to have a change of pace for my quilt backings often, too. Not always though, got to keep my options open. I really like the zig and the zag. I want to make one. Yours are always to pretty!
I love this! This is a nice twist on the zig zag quilt. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery nice! And I love the butterfly backing.

ReplyDeleteLoved catching up with your posts the last few days. Baby quilt is spectacular, love the backing and baby will love the brilliant colorful front.
ReplyDeleteTurquoise Hunter Star has turned out so pretty. And now you might add more. (*._,*) with those 'giveaway' fabrics you won.
Was fun to see your new bathroom curtain, I am sure it makes you smile every time you go in.
