Another 8 top to bottom strips were sewn into a section and added to the first section of 13 strips. I have another strata ready to cut so I can finish the design. The second TAW class is today.
I purchased a fat quarter set of the red fabrics when they first came out and just love them. They sit in my stash looking so pretty. I love that you've cut into your much larger set of fabrics and are actually using them. The quilt is awesome.
I especially like this TAW because of the fabrics - it looks good both from a distance, because of the overall design choices - and also up close, because of the great fabrics. I like that the fabrics have some movement in them, just beautiful Wanda.
This TAW is looking just beautiful. If I remember correctly, the fabric is made by a Japanese designer. There is such movement in the quilt, I really like it.

ReplyDeleteGreat colours in this quilt, more fun than most colour studies!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a different looking TAW from your others - I love the colour arrangement and it's stunning.
ReplyDeleteOh, my, I really like this one. It looks like a watercolor painting.
ReplyDeleteWanda, this looks like a cascade of jewels! What a great selection of fabrics -- they dance! How wandaful!
