I sewed the bottom one late Saturday night and the other two last night. I didn't get any extra cutting done yet. Below is the photo of all eight blocks so far. I need a couple more with busy background fabrics. Also I think I need more green.
I got to looking at this block more and more over the weekend - it just felt very familiar to me and I realized I had made one of these for the Farmer's Wife quilt I believe and if I remember right I chopped some points off in the corner areas :(
I can't pick a favorite, but love the addition of yellow. Green would also balance out the other colors---you are right!! Can't wait to see the next block.
