Green binding......

I got the binding on the green mug rugs last night.  That's all the sewing I did.  The rest of the day was spent on cleaning, washing dishes, laundry, etc.

Today is the alumni tea at the high school I graduated from 55 years ago.  Severe weather is predicted for afternoon and evening so I'll check that out before I leave.  If it sounds too bad, I won't go.

  1. Tried posting once here and blogger froze up. The green binding looks great on your rugs. Stay safe. I have to be out on the road today also. Chris

  2. have fun at the reunion tea - I have never gone to a reunion having moved far away from where I went to school at - after the first couple years of graduation I never kept in touch with anyone.

  4. Your mug rugs are so pretty! Makes me want to haul out those bits and pieces left over from other projects (that I just couldn't throw away) and turn them into something useful. Thanks for the inspiration!

  10. More beautiful mug rugs. Each more beautiful than the last. I never tire seeing them. Makes me want to pull my batik scraps and play : )

  11. Are you making these mug rugs for anything in particular? What type of batting do you use for them? I hope you are able to go to the alumni event!

  12. Hope you made the tea through the rain drops. Our weathermen seem to try to scare us with the weather. They predict severe storms, winds, tornados and I got a downpour with winds that were not too bad and no tornados at all. I love the green binding. I wish my friends would get into the mug rugs as I would love to make some for gifts.
