Last batch...........

I sewed the last batch of African strips for the 16 patch quilt.  I should get these pressed and sliced this morning and sewn into blocks.  I hope I have a layout decision by tonight.

Yesterday was cooler and less humid and such a beautiful day.  With the nice rain we have had lately the grass turned green again and started growing.  I mowed for the first time in a month.

  2. Suppose to get hot and humid by next weekend, so do your outside work early in the week. The blocks look great. Hope you find time to sew. Chris

  4. finally weather changing here too - less humidity the last week has been awful and I felt totally wiped out if I spent much time outside.
I good time to spend inside designing and sewing.

  5. It has cooled down quite a bit here too. But I am not ready for fall quite yet!
Those blocks are going to make a very rich quilt.

  7. wanda, you just amaze me at how everyday nearly you keep sewing, and wish I had you beside me to fire me up with the small moments I should be sewing, these African prints wouldn't be my choice, I love the garden series you just finished but then I love flowers, not matter its nice each day to see what you have accomplished. I love your work
