Goofing off.......
I sewed 2 strip sets but didn't get them pressed or sliced. I had another bunch of errands I wanted to do before the Labor Day weekend so I was gone all morning. The big Sandwich Fair (DeKalb County Fair) starts next Wednesday so I want to be free to go to it too. In the late afternoon yesterday a friend and I went to see "The Butler". It was a lot more intense and moving than I had anticipated. In the 1960s I had both of my children and we started our business so I had a lot of sidetracks. This movie filled in the history for me.

Sometimes distractions are needed. You will get back to your sewing more this Fall. Chris
We all have a slow day or two. It seems you have that less than most of us.
Yep distractions are what happen while we play in the sewing spaces!!!
I have seen a few previews/ads for the Butler and have thought of going but just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Love that orange fabric. So colorful and vibrant.
We also went to see The Butler yesterday and really enjoyed it. I was impressed with how history was told in such a personal way and the acting was superb.
