Divided blocks.........
I divided the pastels into 2 groups and added the darker blocks back into the one on the right. This could be 2 baby quilts, 40" x 48" on the left and 40" square on the right. I'm still undecided what to do so they are coming off the wall as I prepare the basement for my art quilters who are coming on Monday.

That pastel on the left is going to need some serious jolting.... I would have some difficulty moving on from this part... The one on the right I can see finished. Have fun on Monday.
I keep going back and forth between the photos and I really think I like the first version of this quilt the best.
Well I think the pastel prints on the left would please new parents, but for me, the one on the right looks a bit "spotty-lotty".
I love your quilts and blog and find both a great inspiration.

What if you put the darker blocks on the right as a border on the lighter one?
You know I will keep checking in to see the outcome of your pastel blocks. They are so pretty... just taking a break from them for a few days is all it will take to decide what to do.

Haven't read my blogs in a few days, so just now saw the post about your Father. You have my deepest sympathies.
Sorry for the loss of your dear father. I see why you like that photo of him!! Blessings and prayers are being sent your way!!
I really quite like the all pastels one and look forward to seeing what you decide to do.
Both make cute baby quilts.
THere are times you need to just back off and wait a week or so and look again!

I like all three quilt possibilities. I keep coming back to your blog to see what you are going to do with these beautiful blocks. Take your time.
I'm working a small leftover ball of yarn into the middle of a dishcloth now. Thanks for the idea.
I think they're all beautiful, but I liked the combined one best, they kept my eye moving from the darks to lights and played nicely with each other.
