Finally! Some blocks.............

I sliced the 10 stratas I showed yesterday and made the first 10 blocks.  I can see I'm going to like this one a lot.  I hope to get at least 10 more blocks done today.  Just like the last two 16 patches, this one will have 2 blocks alike of every combination.

  1. It's going to be very soothing, reminiscent of field and forest.

  6. Love this with all the shades of green, teal to lime. Fun with the cats peeking out. Interesting how each of these 16 patch quilts take on their own personality because of the color choice.

  11. Not every green quilt makes me think of Ireland, but something about this one certainly does! I am strongly reminded of the flat green fields of south central Ireland. It's quite atmospheric!

  12. How refreshing. Just like the iced tea I am drinking right now. It feels like cool leaves twinkling in gentle sunlight.
