I think I am happy with the distribution of the pinks now I'll probably look at it a few more times today to be sure.
Of course I need my matching nature photos!
I have been trying to clean up the front flower bed this year. There are 3 kinds of vine that are taking over so sometimes I think I should give up.
This section used to be crowded with tiger lilies. I moved all but this one clump out to the back garden plus giving away a bunch of them. I have the pot sitting on a flat stone. I remove it and then I can walk in a little bit to do the weeding.
I think this plant is called Jacob's Ladder but I'm not positive. It looks the healthiest it has ever been this year.

Your layout is perfect. Just the right amount of pink in the mix. The color in the yard looks great also. I like the dense look of a garden and my husband doesn't so we argue over that. Chris
looks great as do all your quilts
Love your layout! Your quilts are all so beautiful and you work them up so quickly. I think the plant is Garden Phlox. My whole garden is full of them.
definitely says summer to ME!!! Love it!
So gorgeous! I love the layout.
I love the way this one has turned out.
very pretty gardens! love the layouts of the gardens and a very pretty quilt!
Your garden is beautiful! Love the quilt layout too.
It's working! Your gardens are just lush and beautiful.
The distribution of color looks terrific.
Just so you now, you are personally responsible for me adding this quilt to my list of 'to-do's'. Aren't you ashamed of yourself. Beautiful quilt and lovely flowers.
Love the quilt layout and the nature photos too!
Your quilt really does look like your flower garden. It will be great for when the winter has taken all the color away.
The layout is pleasing to the eye. I love your pretty dianthus.
I love it, Wanda. Much better than yesterday's. Yesterday I was thinking that some of the very dark green blocks were standing out too much. Today they are less so. Your rearranging seems to me to have moved some lighter ones away from the darker ones.
Love the quilt layout. You are so prolific! I call that flower phlox as well. It self seeds, so is supposed to be prolific, but I have not found it to be so. Perhaps I pull them thinking they are weeds early in the spring. I love the "look" of your gardens. Tumbling is the look for me.45
Tah~Dah ! You did it again. Such a treat to watch you arrange and rearrange and just maybe 'tweaking' again today as you mentioned. I will be sure to be watching.
Your blossoming gardens look great. It has been a spring and summer full of lovely blossoms. We have not had the rain that you have had but my gardens are in full bloom also. Some perennials that I thought I had lost have popped up again and are blossoming this year and in this heat yet.

Yours gardens -- floral and fabric -- are gorgeous! I think the pink and green quilt is my favourite of all so far!
Pinks and greens in blocks and your garden, all lovely. Great layout, it shows off each block so well. Cheers from Jean
Sure speaks Summer Days to me
Love greens and pinks/reds
Hugs
Your photos make me smile - so pretty!
love, love, love the way this green/pink top is coming together . . . LOVE IT!
The quilt is beautiful. I have been finding myself very drawn to greens lately. It has been such a green spring and summer. I think there is a green quilt in my future. I am thinking of adding azure blue, from seeing all of those greens against the strong blue of the sky. Adding the pinks like you did was genius. Love it!
We have briar vines and Virginia Creeper taking over here.

Hi Wanda,
LOVE the green and pink 16-patch! Much better (at least to me) than all green.
Your garden looks great, even though it's taking over! I have several types of ground cover that like to run rampant over everything else. That's what I have been doing -- pull, pull, pull.

These blocks are beautiful. Love this arrangement. Beautiful pictures of your flowers. Love your post.
Lovely! I didn't know that 'just' squares could look so much like a real garden!
