Setting triangles cut........

One small step at a time......the setting triangles have been cut.  I'll have to look at it several times today to decide if any need to be rearranged before I sew it together.  I didn't do any sewing yesterday.  I did a load of laundry, went out to eat with friends, wandered into a couple antique/junque shops with same friends, visited Dad and read my book.  I'm near the end of the book so I'll find out who dunnit soon.

  1. I find it so helpful too to leave the blocks hanging on the wall and keep looking at it off and on during the day - sometimes I end up changing quite a bit and other times leave as it but it really helps to see it

  2. It's almost magic how the fabrics play off of each other.

  3. I love this. The background fabric is SO effective. Great movement! I bought some of this to use as a stack-n-whack, and was disappointed to find that many of the blocks don't have much color variety, but I am still looking forward to using them to put a quilt with great motion together-someday. It is a UFO for the time being. I really admire how you stay so focused on a project.

  5. Sounds like you had a nice busy day and even worked in the cutting of your setting triangles.

I see the 4th of July with all the twirling circles and spinning pinwheels in this one. It has celebration all over it. (*._,*)
