Finally quilting.......

I finally quilted the quilt that has been loaded on my longarm for 2 weeks.  It is the fossil fern and Kaffe fabrics quilt from a few months ago.  I quilted it the same way as the red/orange one that I made like it a few years ago.
I finished another dishcloth last night.  Wouldn't these colors make you want to wash dishes?  I bet the dishwater will have a purple tint to it.
The doves like the bird bath too.  They just walk around in it and take a few drinks.
The robins on the other hand chase all of the rest of the birds out and really take a bath.  He turned his back on me when I got the camera.  When he turned around he chased the sparrow away.

  2. I love the way your quilting enhances the top without distracting from the beauty of the fabric.

  3. the quilting that you did is interesting looking - almost looks like pieces cut out of a jigsaw puzzle if you know what I mean. Rainy day here not sure what I will get done with as DD is visiting today.

  5. Love the fabric, block pattern and quilting. I agree with Mary. Quilting not distracting from the beautiful fabrics.
I bought a ball of that yarn when it was on sale for 97 cents. I think it will make the dish water purple the first time it's used, too. haha. Cool dishcloth.

  6. The block you featured today is so very pretty...

re:dish cloth... I agree we know how those colors bleed. But oh how pretty.

And your bird bath featuring your daily visiting birds. I especially like the photo of the dove... it is like a "Bev Doolittle painting" ... like try and find the hidden element in this painting.

  7. How funny. The doves here are really obnoxious - they will not let another bird eat at the feeder, but chase them away.

I really like your quilting. How on earth do you keep it so uniform. I'll confess that I just get bored and start doing something different every little once in a while. :)
