108 blocks.......

Pictured here are 1/2 of the 108 blocks.  There are 2 blocks of each combination so I figured putting one of each up on the design wall would help me figure out the combinations for the last group.  If I didn't repeat any fabrics there are 108 different fabrics in the blocks.  I think I may have repeated 2 of the light fabrics though.
I finished one more dishcloth last night.  This one had too much counting in it so I won't be using this pattern again.

  1. To much counting sounds familiar to me. Cable sweaters I love the look of , oh but the counting. Rain Rain go away today. We will never dry out at this rate. Chris

  6. 108 blocks ! ! ! ! I know you have made that many before but this is one huge project. Does that mean 1,728 small squares you have stitched together to make this awesome blue quilt top ? I had to turn on my calculator (*._,*)

LOVE hearts and it is so special on the dish cloth and who you are making it for. I do agree with you on too much counting.

  7. wow! That quilt is looking great! And I love the heart on your dishcloth - I am not sure I would have the courage to use it as dishcloth, though, it is so beautiful!

  9. Your blue 16 patch blocks are beautiful! I've enjoyed watching you make and post them.
The hear dishcloth is so sweet. Sounds difficult. I working on easy ones this year. Maybe I'll try a heart next year.

  10. Beautiful is not a word I usually associate with dishcloths, but this one certainly is! And those many, many blue squares are just hypnotic.

  13. I love the 16 patches--lovely shading in those blocks.
I make a ton of dishcloths--always have one going. BUT, I stick to the basic pattern so I can knit while talking.
