I spent the morning on errands, the afternoon yesterday sewing pieces for a QOV quilt. Then last night I went to the local quilt guild meeting to see a friend giving the program. This is what I bought from her. Can you guess who it was?
It was the lovely Laura Wasilowski from Artfabrik fame! She has such a sense of humor and shares it abundantly in her program. We all got our daily dose of laughter. I have to share our photo that was taken last night.

Good Morning I don't feel so silly knowing your up and about this early also. I Love Laura Too!! She's a real gem, Hugs
Oh, that would have been so fun to hear and meet Laura!
I have to admit I love those blocks in those fabrics!
Laura did a trunk show and then a workshop for our guild a couple of years ago...it was so much fun!
Sounds like a wonderful time! quiltinjeanie@yahoo.com
What a SUPER photo! I agree - I like this grouping of blocks much more than the first set.
I am just a tad jealous. I have never met Laura other than thru the internet and on TV. I have a feeling if we got together we would get in trouble. Ha ha.
How fun! Do you have a particular project in mind for the yarn? I love the way this latest version of the X and + quilt is coming.
Wonderful fun, and great fabric.
What a lovely photo of you two!
I am really liking those brights in that pattern.
It was great to see you again Wanda! You always warm my heart.
Laura
The blocks really are very cheerful and are going to make a fabulous quilt.
Love the fabric and fibre you picked up!
The picture of you and Laura shows what good friends you are ! It was a great program and so much fun !
Like this set of blocks better than the batiks.
''Birds of a feather"...... you and Laura are two creative ladies.

Yep, those blocks look a lot more like you!
What do you plan to do with the yarn?
I think Laura is scheduled to be at our guild in Tulsa next year. I can hardly wait! How nice that she's a friend of yours!
I knew that was Laura from the fabric and yarn..ha...I was so excited when she came to Charlotte, that after it was all over, I went up to thank her and tripped backwards and broke my elbow. ha. I hope she sang for you:)
I agree the bright colors look better in this block.
Nan
