I finished the quilting in the red areas and then did the border. I loosely outlined each leaf and center vein. I got it trimmed and now need to make a decision on binding. It might be the border fabric because I'm not sure it needs a contrasting edge.
I spray basted the next 2 quilts. I have posted about that in the past and you can see those 2 posts by clicking on Spray Basting on my Label list on the right side bar. I also did a few lines of hand basting for extra security on it. I got about 2/3 of the ditch quilting done on this one last night. I'm not sure what I'll do next on it. I may just start the ditch quilting on the next one while I decide.

OOh nice work! I love your table. Is that one piece of furniture or a second table pushed up against another? I recently bought a table that my machine could sit "in". I have 2 other tables pushed up against that to create a nice big surface.
I love the quilt in the second picture. It reminds me of an art workshop I took where we layered paint and then painted the negative space to created the image.
I love your work table - such a nice area and just the right size for so many of your quilts.
You are making some huge progress on that UFO pile! Great job!
I agree that one does not need a contrasting binding. I posted my Christmas table runner last night!

I agree with Gene - LOVE that 2nd quilt. What were you calling that? I'd like to look back at your blog postings about it.
thanks!
This is incredibly beautiful and I agree with you about the binding. A contrasting color would take focus off the great fabric you've chosen for the border and add another layer that I don't think you need.
Beautiful pieces of art! Love the colors and how your quilting style brings emphasis to movement. Wish I could think of these things :D
A good quilt , Well done
I love the quilt in the second picture! They're both beautiful, but that second picture really captured my eye.
I love the quilting detail in the first picture. Is it all free motion? I'd also like to know more about the Invisifil thread you posted about yesterday.
Free motion around the leaves on the border is awesome Wanda. The stitching detail enhance's the design even more so.
Strips 'n curves, I'm just speechless... only you would tackle a design like that. I remember ordering the book and supplies to try one myself, when you first introduced it. . Ha... I'm such a dreamer thinking I could keep up with you.

Love that second quilt. I like the contrast with the lights and darks.
Wanda you amaze me, as usual. Just beautiful - quilting and all!
