I chose the border fabric for the Christmas quilt yesterday. There are 2 outer border fabrics of which I have a half yard of each. I will just piece them end to end and let the seam fall wherever.
I put my other plant on the table so you can see its progress. It has 2 flower stalks and is supposed to be red. I have several bulbs from previous years in the garage but I doubt I'll get any of them to bloom. It will be a bonus if they do. I didn't bring them in until the first of Nov. so they might not show any sign of life for another month. Today I hope to do some sewing!!

Enjoy your stitching! Love the border fabric.
I never even thought to pick some of these plants up this year - I need to pick up a few groceries today I should get one or two I always like them. I'll need to find some though that like they are almost ready for those buds to be here
love the quilt border and sashing
I really love your quilt Wanda - Christmassy but not over the top. It's going to be beautiful.
The amaryllis is a beautiful color. Happy sewing.
I really like your Christmas quilt and the amaryllis are beautiful. I've never brought any of mine inside, they bloom where they're planted.
Your Christmas quilt is looking wonderful as is the amaryllis. What a pretty color it is!
I've resisted the urge to buy Christmas fabric to make a holiday quilt . . . instead I'm watching you and enjoying my winter flannel quilt from 200-cough-cough.
Beautiful flower!
Your blocks have now become my plan for my Christmas fabrics...all scraps...thank you!
Your fabrics compliment the main body of your quilt perfectly. So rich in color and design. Of course it would be.
You are a magician when it comes to your plants. They produce such grand blossoms for you.

Absolutely gorgeous.
I like how you did the border! Love Amaryllis. I have dwarf ones that bloom bright red in the yard in September!
I have an amaryllis in the window of my sewing room. It hasn't bloomed or formed buds yet this year but the greenry is growing so probably in another month.
