The lime green coleus is positively neon this summer. I keep cuttings over the winter to plant in the spring and it never gets this luminous in the house. We have finally gotten a break from the heat and will be in the mid 80s most of the week....if the weathermen have it right! One day has 90 predicted but that sounds cool compared to the weather we have had so far this summer.
I got 35 more fabrics cut for the kits so I'm at 135. Are you tired of hearing about this? I will probably move the oranges over a little to the right as I cut more fabrics. Some that I'm auditioning are pictured below.
Here are 2 that won't be in the kits. They are still folded like they are on a bolt and that is about 1 yard of the one on the left and about 3/4 yard of the one on the right so you can see how large the pattern is. They are from the 1990s when batiks were new on the scene. I believe they are Hoffman batiks.
I love seeing all the beautiful fabrics going into this cutting project and admire your sticking to the monotonous part: the cutting (even if you're using your studio cutter).
No, I am not tired of this! This is the pace at which the work proceeds, and I am enjoying the process vicariously. Kind of like reading a serial comic that gives up a tiny bit of its plot each day.
I don't think I would ever get tired of watching the colors progress. I started cutting 2.5 inch strips to have fabrics ready to add. I have cut a little over 60 different ones, did not realise I had that many. I am trying not to buy any until after I receive my kit. Speaking of which, do you accept paypal?
I love to watch your creative process so I am not tired of reading/seeing it. I am also amazed at what you do with your plants. You certainly have a green thumb as well as a colorful thumb.

Your coleus color comparison (last post) is amazing, as is your neon green one. I knew the sun brightened up the colors, but wow! And I'm going to do coleus cuttings in water this fall to see how I do with them; thanks for the tip! Vicky F
I have just taken a second look .Many years ago I bought 1 yard of that colour green , loved it so much I could not bear to cut it then started to use little snippets . I still have a small piece somewhere . It had octupus on it .
