I will start out with Wonky 3. I showed the new center block yesterday and now I have 4 rounds sewn on. I am going to stay with alternating dark and light rings for the target effect.
I sewed 3 more rounds on Wonky 1.
It is longer than 45" on the 2 long sides now so I have to start joining strips for the rounds. I try to choose something with a similar color and width.
I always enjoy watching your creations grow. The occasional striped, dotted, and strongly graphic batiks are adding so much interest to your rounds. Do you have a "target" size, or just go till you decide they're big enough?
That is so cool! Love your Wonkys!
ReplyDeleteWanda - love the colors! nice job.

I was wondering what you were going to do when you got to 45" a side! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteI have a whole bin of batik strips. I must make myself some placemats like this! If I get my big project done this weekend I think I may start a set.
ReplyDeleteThese are great ideas for lap quilts. Where do you get these ideas? Wow!
ReplyDeleteYour post sets me thinking
ReplyDelete- - - - I need some new 'colorful' scraps
I do not like my 'mid-west bland' fabrics stash
love and hugs, Wanda
