I will just post one photo of the opening of my show. Some of you might remember I write my post around midnight and set it to publish at 5 a.m. I'm exhausted and have an early class Sat. morning so I'll post more later. Close to the front of the gallery are Vicki Welsh and her mother from Virginia. You might remember it was her orange hand dyed fabric I showed a few days before I left for NC so it was a treat to meet her. It was a great night with lots of positive comments.
Here is some publicity that went out yesterday. It is a large PDF to download but just loaded with art related news. My article is on page 13.
The show looks beautiful. Congratulations!

ReplyDeleteThank you for posting a photo of your opening ... I was surprised you even had a moment to take one photo. And to have Vicki Welsh attend... I visited her blog this morning and I can see she is a "celebrity blogger" herself.
ReplyDeleteI can well imagine how exhausted you are. How you have managed to "Burn the candle at both ends" for months on end has amazed me. So proud of you !
And knowing you... you will be full of exuberant enthusiasm for your class this morning.
