As I walked into my studio yesterday morning I saw the beauty of the quilting as the light from the window came across the quilt.
I thought I only had 3 strips left to quilt but as I looked I kept finding more so I started marking them with pins. There were 5 more in the center too.

This piece is so filled with visual and tactile texture using plain straight lines. Colorful and interesting, a fabulous quilted artwork. Round of applause for you!
OMG so much work!!! Take a look at my CANDY :))

Kisses from Poland!!! :)
It looks fabulous! Crazy what the right light on a quilt will show! I do the same thing as you when I have forgotten or don't want to forget an area... pin it. Have a great class today!
The morning view is amazing, Wanda. If you have time, please explain the blocking part. Why? How? I have never done or seen this before. Beautiful work!
With all the thread changes you are making, how are you securing your quilting stitching? Are you burying your threads in the quilt? Beautiful work.
what texture! it looks great.

Beautiful.......
I have the same question as Mary...how are you starting and stopping? Your quilt is absolutely amazing! Just love all that color...great job!
The strip quilt is very pretty! I never tire of that type of quilt, though you r fabrics and colors really make it stand out.
I love the blues in your cross block too. It will make a lovely runner.
It's always such a pleasure to pop in and get my 'colour fix.' Thank you.
Beautiful morning eye candy.
I'm wondering how you secure the ends too. I just bought some "self-threading" needles, and they do help cut the tedium of hiding thread ends, but it's still a chore!... thanks for the continued inspiration!
The quilting is beautiful and the quilt turned out just gorgeous!
Happy Valentine's Day, Wanda!
I love the quilting on the quilt. Beautiful in light like that!
WOW! Love the texture of the quilt. Crosses quilt looks like another winner. I've started to pull my green/aqua fabric but have not started to cut. Thanks for the encouragement. Too bad CA is too far from IL to take your classes.
A quilted master piece !
p.s. Blue is my favorite color too... Crosses should be relaxing after all you have completed.

It's beautiful! You have a lot of patience.
Fabulous! You inspire me with your colour use and with the quilting. I am certainly going to use that all over staright line quilting on something soon. (Just my style I hope.)
Happy Valentine's Day! Do you ever tire of quilting? You have been one busy lady lately. The snow is almost gone and warmer weather for the next couple of days unless the weathermen change their minds. LOL
Hi, Wanda. I think you've just proved once again that a quilt's not finished until it's quilted--beautiful piece.
best, nadia
Lovely quilting, I think you have just proved 'quilting makes the quilt'. And 'more is more'.
Love it!
Oh, Wanda! It is just amazing with the light hitting it. Wow. What a great quilt.
I'm wondering what you mean by "have to block it"....you have it all laid out smooth and even as you quilted it so it's all nicely squared up already, no? I am puzzled and curious....
