This may look like the same photo I posted a couple days ago, but this is the well behaved recipe where they actually look like they are supposed to. This dough is so much easier to work with. This one has egg in it and the other doesn't so I don't know if that is the magic ingredient. I like both as far as taste goes so I guess in the future my decision will be whether I want to make the easy one or the difficult one.
Today I'm having lunch with a friend at a fairly new restaurant in town that I haven't been to yet. It is our November birthdays and Christmas combined lunch. Then I need to work on the latest flannel quilt and finish quilting the H quilt.
Looks like one of those would go great with my cup of coffee right about now! And I vote for easy!
ReplyDeleteYou are busy as usual. Enjoy your lunch with your friend today. I must now clean up the messy kitchen.
ReplyDeleteYour photos of kringla brought back so many memories. My Danish grandmother (my bestamor) made them and then taught my mom. I think I'll give your easy recipe a try!
ReplyDeleteWell they look delicous! I don't believe I've ever had any, but I'll be sure to take notice in the bakeries around here. Several have other Scandinavian treats, so the possibility exsists that I will find them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Kringlas! Happy Birthday and enjoy your lunch out!!
