This may look like yesterday's photo but the side borders are sewn on now. I added 1/3 of a block on each strip and then had to take in 2 seams a tiny bit for it all to fit. I have pieced the two 2/3 blocks for the top and bottom but haven't sewn them onto the strip yet.
I searched through my green stash to find a binding for this quilt. I needed more than 1/2 yard so that eliminated a lot of fabric. This is my final choice and I will cut it today. I need to get 3 bindings on quilts so I will have an impressive list of finishes for November.
I finished the ditch quilting on this quilt. There was a suggestion in the book of 2 patterns of continuous lines that completely outlined each cross when it was done. I need to look for binding for this one today.

Looking good Wanda!
You'd have to look hard to see the 1/3 blocks. That's tricky to make it all fit.
I t will be a very satisfying month!
I know the pieced borders were a lot of work, but the end results are proving well worth it. Thanks for sharing the process you went through in making them fit. I will be making a pieced border of four patches down the road and this will help me through that.
Love it. The colors are gorgeous.
Can you tell me what book this quilt pattern is from? Love it and would like the pattern!

Another beautiful quilt. You really get a lot done in a day! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Sorry, I meant the cross quilt!
Wanda, you ALWAYS have an impressive list of accomplishments for the month! You put the rest of us (ok, maybe it's only me) to shame.
if you can (in your copious spare time), please post a photo of the back of the cross quilt and links to the postings where you described how to build the quilt top. I'd like to study the quilting pattern (assuming the backing is un-busy enough to see it) and the method of construction. I learn so much from you! -- thanks! christine
I love this quilt. One of these days I hope to be able to attempt something this rich and varied, even if I manage only a much smaller prayer quilt. Just beautiful, Wanda!
The nine patch border really does look awesome on it.
All your quilts are gorgeous and inspiring, but the crosses quilt is still my favorite!
Like Frebblebit said, all your quilts are inspiring, and I really like that cross quilt. I think that I will put that high on my list of quilts to make next year. Thanks for sharing.

That closeup is scrumptious!!!!
Wow! A productive day. I love the nine patches. And the cross quilt is looking great. I am curious about the continuous lines of quilting since I am just about ready to start quilting mine. I love the green you have chosen for the other quilt. Green is one of my favourite colours. Oh, who am I kidding? I love all colours!
IT'S VIBRANT and beautiful. Nice work.
Absolutely stunning! It just glows.
Wow! You are on a roll! They all look so good, and I am especially liking the outlining on the crosses quilt. It really makes them stand out more.
Excellent progress. I finished quilting yesterday and then discovered that the binding I had planned to use was 100" short. Fortunately I had enough left of the outer border fabric to make a new binding which will get sewn on tomorrow. We are pretty good and making do, aren't we?
