I had a goal to finish sewing the rows on this diamond quilt by midnight Saturday and I made it with 45 minutes to spare. I haven't made any decision on borders yet and probably will finish the other 2 tops before I do make a decision.
Lovely quilt Wanda. I think a border of the same or similar color fabric to your triangles might be interesting. I would give an effect of floating diamonds.
It has been fun to watch this quilt evolve, and interesting to read your comments about your design process. sally in st. paul (where I get the absolute last of this year's sweet corn today. I will cry in my butter as I eat it).
Once again, another beautiful quilt. All these years I've been using such dark colors, then I see your beautiful bright colorful quilts. Thanks for sharing. cindy
It is really beautiful! I like the fabric you used in the side pieces...looks perfect! You always seem to have such a eye for color! Quilting by the River
I rarely do anything with much border, to speak of, and I do like this without borders. What size are you at now? I can definitely see where adding borders will make it larger must faster than more triangles!
Looks great without borders. Chris
