Debut on a bed.......

The debut on a queen size bed.  It is really closer to a double bed size quilt though.  I have it pulled to the left to show more.
I like it better from the straight on view.

  4. I am speechless, Wanda. This is just amazing. After working on my own Bento Box with only purple and gold fabrics, I was having a hard time envisioning what yours would look like done in the fabulouse Kaffe fabrics. This is a beauty!! What possibilities this pattern affords! I am going to link yours to mine in my upcoming post to show the different looks. Well Done!

  10. Oh Wanda... the only way this quilt could be any better is if it were on my bed. Thanks for the inspiration.

  11. Fabrics that are fun = a happy whimsical quilt.

With yesterdays post came waves of happy memories of your first trip to MT. I was not laughing at any photo's you shared. I remember ORLON yarn too ! And your daughters quilt with lots of pink. All this = The Good Ole Days" Right ?

Must be in the air to clean up and discard those old memories. I have been going through 50 years of Christmas cards ! And yes I am still saving many... If only they were in fabric they'd make an awesome quilt.

  17. I just heard "Bento Box" on TV as the answer to a question -- Jeopardy? Cash Cab? One of those. And here's your beauty. I love seeing it on a bed.
Re: your post yesterday, I remember orlon, not because I was a knitter, but I think I had a sweater with that futuristic-sounding word on the label.
