I finally resorted to using a flash for this photo because the colors yesterday just weren't true. They were too blue and the piece is much warmer than that photo. I took out the hot pink and added more orange. I'm still not happy with the lower left corner so it's not done yet.
Last night I re-labeled this post "Drunkard's Path" and for some reason Blogger decided to post it as a new post. Go to the label list on my right side bar and click on Drunkard's Path for all 8 posts about this quilt from May 2011.

Looks great! Hannah
Wow! Stunning!
That is so cool! I love it. What a great idea. You should do a pattern.
WOW! What an amazing piece!!!
This looks beautiful. What is the size?
I like what you're doing with the drunkard's path-a unique view on an old pattern. Nice!
I like the orange ,i don't know what the right hand corner needs.i know you will find it.wig.
I thought my comment was so great i sent it twice.Wig.haha.
The flash certainly made a difference. It's pretty and interesting. again I like the way the circles interact.
Its stunning.
I love it. Using the flash made the picture brighter. I can't wait until I see the final layout and finish project.
Oh, I like this photo much better. It's hard to get a true picture, sometimes. You may ignore what I said before about the "jumper".
I LOVE-LOVE Batiks!! Your quilt is stunning!! maybe...sigh...someday..
I might be able to make one..."similar" to this. A girl (grandma)can dream, right?

It's beautiful. I like the use of light and dark.
That will be stunning!
My husband just came by my computer and I showed him your quilt - he said "It looks like a modern painting, doesn't it?" Yes! Of a futuristic world where planets come and go.
Wanda, this quilt is amazing! It reminds me of the solar system, and love how you inserted smaller squares here and there. Do you have or know of a pattern or tutorial that might be online? This would also make a great wall hanging for people who like a more modern look, and we have a grandson who would definitely fit the bill. Again, thanks for sharing.
The Drunkard's Path block is one of my favorites, this quilt is stunning.
Flash or no flash - your layout and colors are awesome!
I'm about to begin a Drunkard's Path project . . . blues and greens . . . two sizes (using the Go dies) . . .
