I have realized that to keep up with a journal quilt each week, some of them are going to have to be simple spontaneous pieces. This week I am making a Valentine using 2 pieces of my collection of Valentine and heart fabrics.
The back is strip pieced instead of just one fabric so I had a chance to introduce one more of the heart fabrics.
Once again, you are keeping up with the once a week. I, however, have started on my Feb journal quilt, prepped part of it today and will be trying to figure out how to put it all together this week. I am really enjoying this!
You sneaked that one past me, looking good! Sometimes "spontaneous" trumps "deep thought"... I tend to over-think projects, with the obvious result of not getting it done til the last second.
Very fun good luck with that. I love your blog header the colors just speak to me.
ReplyDeleteFun and simple and awfully darn cute!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Love your heart fabrics too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy little piece that is! I LIKE it.
ReplyDeleteSometimes these small projects are just what you need to feel refreshed before going back to your large ones.
ReplyDeleteLove the heart fabric!
I used that same exact print child print in some of the valentines I made yesterday1
